Album:America-Finite Disappointment, Infinite Hope

Idaho / Aug. 10, 2012 / by Chris

After my last composition took us into the realm of the weird, I figured this week would be a good time to head back into what people are more used to hearing. This week's is a very simple piano song, with a recognizable verse/chorus structure.

The title comes from a quote by Martin Luther King Jr.: “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” Not only is the quote one I thoroughly agree with and think is in keeping with the spirit of Bus 52, but I think it resonates with the spirit of the song as well. I hope you think so, too.
