What makes Ohio different?

What makes Ohio different?

The only thing that comes to mind when I think of Ohio is a joke on Looney Toons that Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny do.

Bugs asks, "Why is the state of Ohio different?"

Elmer Fudd responds, "Because it's HI in the middle and wound on both ends."

Really, any time anyone for as long as I can remember mentions the state of Ohio I see and hear this joke. Not it's swing state status, or barometer for American opinion. It's not the fact that my friend Keesha is from Ohio, or that have an Aunt and Uncle that lived briefly in the state. I'm sure there are a myriad of other reasons I should associate with Ohio, but it's just that goofy joke.

We weren't in Ohio all that long, but I think we managed to squeeze quite a bit in during our time there. We got to hang out on a golf course for a story (what a dream come true!) and got a tour of Chris's alma mater.

I'm not sure any of these new memories will replace Bugs Bunny, but it was a lovely trip with some great fall photos. Check out my photo album!
