The Land of Enchantment

The Land of Enchantment

I've been to New Mexico once before, and I remember enjoying and thinking it was pretty. What I didn't remember, but my mother told me, was that when I was the ripe old age of thirteen I decided I wanted to live in Santa Fe. Well thirteen-year-old me sure knew a thing or two, and it might be an indication that she had more right than I gave her credit for.

During our trip to New Mexico I feel in love with the state - I could see myself living in every town we visited. I loved how weird and space obsessed Roswell was, I felt downright tame amongst the quirky community in Truth or Consequences, and life in Santa Fe felt like something I could get used to. A return is definitely in order - I got to see some more good friends, which made the trip even better.

I took an obscene amount of photos - so peruse the photo album at your leisure. I didn't even include our trip to Bandelier State Park - I figured that deserved an album of its own.
