Reasons to live on a Bus:

A list of things that make living on a bus cool:

  • We move every few days - which means a new home, new people, and a new place to explore
  • You always have someone to talk to or hang out with
  • The opportunity to see a whole lot - like, a whole whole lot. Sometimes it's the Grand Canyon, other times the St. Louis arch or even Bourbon Street at night. It's all amazing, it's stuff everyone should see. And we are.
  • We eat good food almost all the time
  • I love road trips, and we're ALWAYS road tripping
  • The five months before Bus52 were spent on couches and air mattresses, an actual bed of my own is a huge improvement
  • Visiting friends and family all over the country
  • We get to meet some serious characters at the RV parks and campgrounds we visit
  • I'm feeding my wanderlust
  • Experiencing a bunch of firsts!
  • I love driving, and now that we have the van I have the opportunity to do quite a bit of driving
  • I'm learning quite a bit about myself
  • Four friends that I never knew before who make this life-changing experience possible.

Now this doesn't even include what I'm getting professionally, or what it's doing for my sense of civic engagement. But it's all the me-centered things that make me so happy to be a part of the Bus 52 project.
