Oprah Should Pick Us Up

Oprah Should Pick Us Up

We find amazing people and showcase their talents, how they have helped their community. Bus 52 is about highlighting inspiration across the country. We think Oprah should pick us up. Here's why.

When asked to choose a person who so quintessentially embodies the role of confidant, interviewer and on-screen listener, it's Oprah. For years she has not only served as a direct link for regular people to get inside the mindset of the unique and extraordinary, but reinvented daytime television in the process.

Now she has her OWN network (see what I did there?), and we think we should be part of it. We have been on the road for nearly four months now. We've produced 18 stories so far. We've proven ourselves with our planning and execution. We've produced amazing stories such as Random Acts of Flowers, Knitting Behind Bars, and The Enchanted Closet, among many others.

We have raised over $80,000 on our own so far. We are a bunch of young people who have managed to accomplish a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Now we need to take it to the next level.

So if you know the big O, shoot along this post to her. Oprah, we're in St Louis right now, on our way to Kansas. We are blazing trails and telling tails, all from a converted school bus named Stanley. Pick Us Up.
