Music: Epic

Music: Epic

While our primary purpose in our nationwide trek is to tell the stories of inspiring people (such as Nan Jeffers and Team SPEED), we are also aware that we are in many ways on a road-trip of epic proportions.  So when we get to places with amazing things to see, we are going to take advantage of the opportunity.  As we’ve explored such attractions as the Georgia Aquarium and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I’ve noticed a common thread: epic music.

Now, many folks are aware that businesses of all kinds and sizes use ambient music to subconsciously “influence” their patrons.  What made the music at these places notable for me was that it demanded the people to listen to it; the majesty and sheer epicness* of these compositions refused to stay in the background.  They took moments that would have been great on their own and made them feel like a triumphant movie moment.  That all of us on the Bus 52 team noticed the power of the music reminds me that it’s not just music dorks like me who get moved by music – it’s everyone.
