Breakdown!

As we were driving along route 1 in the Florida Keys, the weather couldn't be better. The sun was shining, and blue water was around. Stanley was driving along at a cool 50mph. Then a steady clicking began, and it started getting louder and louder. The loud clanging made hitting the gas impossible, and I had to shift down. We got Stanley to a safe location and then phoned up the folks at Coachnet - they were absolute stars. We looked at the engine while on the phone with Scott from Coachnet, and we basically decided that although it might be something small, it would probably be better to have Stanley towed and examined rather than risking driving a bit more on a lower gear.

We then phoned up car rental companies and booked a car while waiting for the tow truck. Marc from Anchor Towing arrived with an enormous flatbed truck. I think all of the team were staring in disbelief as Stanley was driven up the side of this massive truck and then perched on top.

We are all fine and on the road, and made it up to Orlando late lastnight. We will be in Orlando until Monday when we find out Stanley's fate. Some more pictures of our intrepid bus!
