Are we sure this isn't the beginning?

Are we sure this isn't the beginning?

Man, I feel like I should be writing something deep and profound about the end of our journey. Maybe all taking note of the wisdom people have offered, anecdotes of personal growth, or even just some takeaways from life on the road for a year.

But I don't have a feeling of the end. I feel like there is so much left to do. Sure, some of that has to do with the fact that we still have 5 stories waiting (more like fighting) to be released. But I think that feeling might be a lot more than that.

I feel like we've made a dent in some of the bad out there by sharing all this good this year. Some of the organizations we've profiled have definitely made a bigger mark in their community, and some of that might be because of us. But I think why not more? What else can be done? Not only what comes next for me, but what comes next for all of us?

As the year draws to a close I am filled with hope. Hope because this year I've met people from all walks of life, from all backgrounds, with an unbelievable array of passions facing what often seems like insurmountable challenges. We've seen how they've adapted, overcome, and continued no matter the challenge.

I think it'll be amazing to look back at these stories next year and the years to come. I'm already feeling nostalgic even though we haven't released all the stories. It doesn't help that one of the organizations we did a story on earlier this year, Go Inspire Go, is celebrating the holidays with 12 days of inspiration. They're sharing some great stories and ideas, so make sure you check it out!
