Amy Rose - Introduction!

Hello! I’m Amy Rose, living and loving in the District of Columbia for the past four and a half years. I attended American University and studied Public Communication and Political Science. I’m a Texas girl at heart with more dreams and aspirations than I could write down. I’m so lucky to be a part of Bus 52, a month ago I couldn’t even dream about being a part of something so perfect and terrifying.

Finding Bus 52 must have been an intervention of fate in my life, a year ago I had started dreaming up a similar project of young people traveling the country exploring the political climate of our country. A good friend of mine found the project, and knew that this was something that I had to see. From the moment I found out about Bus 52 I could think of nothing else, and I still can’t think about doing anything else.

I’m a pretty huge social media nerd, I’m a little obsessed and it’s probably a little unhealthy. I love books and museums; I’m a presidential history dork and have a substantial collection of presidential biographies. My favorite book is a tie between The Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov and Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
